Crestron unveiled its newest Experience Center in Cypress, CA on March 1, 2012. More than 400 guests attended the Grand Opening event including Crestron dealers, consultants, architects, interior designers, lighting designers and specifiers, electrical contractors, vendor partners, media, and local officials.

The new southern California location adds yet another showcase facility to Crestron’s lineup of nationwide Experience Centers and Design Showrooms. Crestron Experience Centers provide the ideal setting for customers, dealers, integrators, interior designers, and architects to experience cutting-edge Crestron technology in a fully-immersive environment.

“Our new experience center marks an open invitation to everyone to come and use this beautiful, functional space where you can see and use Crestron technology in real-life settings,” said Dave Sell, Crestron Regional Sales Director and Cypress Branch Manager. “Hearing and reading about Crestron solutions is cool, but nothing beats experiencing it yourself.”

Afternoon seminars addressed relevant topics such as “It’s a Digital World”, “Integration with Apple®” and “Grow Your Business with Crestron”. Guided tours gave visitors a look at new Crestron innovations including CaptureLiveHD™ Lecture Capture System, Sonnex™ Multiroom Audio System, V-Panel™ 24″ HD Touch Screen Displays, new DigitalMedia™ digital AV network solutions, and more.

Attendees also received a sneak preview of soon-to-be released Crestron shading solutions on display in the Shading Design Studio.

Before the evening cocktail party, Cypress Mayor Doug Bailey commended Crestron Executive Vice President, Randy Klein and staff for expanding the Cypress location. “This facility will allow visitors to experience the technological innovations that have made Crestron an industry leader for more than four decades,” said Bailey.
